Just putting my five cents about the whole BB controversy.

I wanted to just keep quiet and not react to the whole situation but when i saw this post by chuchukyutie, I needed to give my opinion.

“so apparently in the 30 minute uncut version of the interview… Kyung was being serious talking about how Block B actually donates $200 of their paycheck for Thai BBC and it wasn’t until the end of that conversation that Zico said he only has $7 on him and this whole thing is because barely any fans can speak Korean and were relying on false translations. Great.”

See. I knew there was something wrong with the articles and the translations. Media and netizens these days. tsk.

But this won’t erase the fact that Block B made a mistake by not behaving properly during the interviews. Yes, we know they troll a lot in their interviews, but not all people will find it funny. And besides, they were not in Korea at that time so they should’ve behaved properly. But still, it’s not a reason to start bashing them and even their families and making a petition for them to disband. This is just one mistake that escalated into a big mess because of mistranslations and because of fans who overreacted. Let’s put this thing to rest people. They’ve already asked for forgiveness.

Let this also be a lesson to all the fans, Make sure that all the information you know are reliable and true before you all go berserk and start saying rude things to people. And to Block B: We know that you want to live up to your image as idols who don’t care about their images on-screen but you must also learn to know when to be serious. Just like what P.O said, “It was an act that ignored the boundary between freedom and the line of decency.” Please think of this situation as a lesson and as something that will be make you better performers in the future.
